Seine Systems introduces a lightweight, permanent support solution. Ultimate Strut is a lightweight carbon fiber support system for engine and truck lids. The result is the ultimate in body panel support.

 

The Ultimate Strut replaces the factory type gas struts that typically have a short life expectancy.  The easy to install carbon fiber and aluminum construction is elegant, compact, and won't wear out like gas charged struts. A single 1/4" hole on either left or right engine lid hinge required for installation. The support tube aluminum foot rests in a stainless steel socket head bolt that replaces one of the motor mount bolts. An EPDM mount slips onto the inner lip of the engine lid and secures the support tube when the engine lid is closed.
