Reducing unsprung weight is of vital importance in any high performance car. These torsion bars are hollow and they're 25-30% lighter in the front and 35-40% lighter in the rear. This reduction in weight will produce noticeably better ride quality and handling for your car. The hollow design of the bars also allows for better heat treating so as to ensure that your bar will maintain it's rate for years to come.

Diameters for hollow/tubular torsion bars are listed using the effective rate which may not be the actual diameter.
