Fits Power Steering Rack Only-924S, 944 and 968
Does your car have imprecise turn in? Does the steering wheel not return to the same place? This could be caused by the steering rack moving due to an old rubber bushing.
The 944 steering rack suspension was designed for street use. The forces that are applied when race or high performance tires are used can cause the shoulders of the steering rack bushings to deteriorate to the point that the rack will move sideways during steering input.
This hard bushing replacement for the original rubber part will eliminate movement of the steering rack and greatly improve steering turn-in, input and road feel.
