This shift coupler comes from the folks that make the incredible Rennshift units for early Porsche 911 and 914 models. This coupler will give you a substantial increase in shifting precision for your 1987-1989 Porsche 911 that is equipped with a G50 transmission. The insoform plastic replaces the soft factory rubber and each kit includes new metal bushings and mounting hardware. This kit requires drilling or grinding the factory rivets that hold the stock coupler together and this procedure should be performed with the coupler removed from the vehicle. Some small additional transmission noise/vibration may be evident on some cars.
